Suitable for people working in the Dairy or Meat and Fibre industry with several years’ experience who are looking to move into leadership positions with a focus on farm production.
Learners should have had substantial on-farm experience (a minimum of three years), have good knowledge of farm activities and the ‘farm system’, be employed in a position where they are taking responsibility for the running of the farm or part of it and, where possible, the responsibility of other staff. Learners will need to understand the planning required season-to-season and year-to-year, have access to detailed farm production data for the farm and must have the opportunity to manage production factors of a farm for an entire farming year.
This programme has a duration of 12 months and classes are delivered online.
We have courses scheduled to start date in October 2026 and also February 2027 dependant on enrolment numbers.

Suitable for people working in the Dairy or Meat and Fibre industry with several years’ experience who are looking to move into leadership positions with a focus on farm production.
Learners should have had substantial on-farm experience (a minimum of three years), have good knowledge of farm activities and the ‘farm system’, be employed in a position where they are taking responsibility for the running of the farm or part of it and, where possible, the responsibility of other staff. Learners will need to understand the planning required season-to-season and year-to-year, have access to detailed farm production data for the farm and must have the opportunity to manage production factors of a farm for an entire farming year.
This programme has a duration of 12 months and classes are delivered online.
