How are the weeds looking on your place? Have you got them under control? Weeds like Californian thistle, yellow bristle grass, willow weed, and docks can be a real nuisance, but we have a weed expert coming to tell you how to get rid of them! Jason Marriott, Nufarm, will talk about: gaining control of weeds in existing pastures, the key strategies to keep weeds out of new grass, and controlling weeds in crops.
Andrew has planted over 9000 plants on his farm, while Johan van Ras, who farms near Morrinsville and won the Waikato BFEA Regional Award in 2021, has carried out an extensive wetland and riparian planting programme and is now reaping the rewards. Andrew and Johan will share their knowledge about: how to put a planting plan together, where you can find funding to help with your investment, preparation and maintenance, troubleshooting advice, and the benefits you will gain from your investment.
